Mike Cooley is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, best known as a member of the Southern rock band Drive-By Truckers. The Alabama musical style blends elements of rock, country, and Americana, and he is recognized for his sharp, evocative lyrics and distinctive guitar work. As one of the band's primary songwriters, Cooley has written numerous iconic tracks for Drive-By Truckers, with his songs often exploring themes of personal introspection, Southern identity, and social commentary. Alongside bandmate Patterson Hood, Cooley has been a driving force behind the band's evolution since their formation in the late 1990s, contributing to their gritty, honest sound and critical success. In addition to his work with the band, Cooley has pursued a solo career, releasing his debut solo album The Fool on Every Corner in December 2012. The album showcases his storytelling prowess and ability to create poignant, introspective songs with a more stripped-down, intimate sound compared to his work with Drive-By Truckers. Known for his wit and keen observational style, Cooley's solo work highlights his versatility as an artist, cementing his place as an influential figure in contemporary American roots music.

Since the release of his debut album Cotton Fields and Blood for Days in 2018, Partridge has toured relentlessly, including several tours throughout Europe. He is a regular at several great music festivals such as the 30a Songwriters Fest, and the Laurel Cove Music Fest as well as listening rooms across the country including the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Eddies Attic in Atlanta, and Duke's in Indianapolis. Recently, he toured extensively with Matthew Sweet, Drivin' N Cryin', and Dar Williams in support of his latest release Love in the Dark. He has performed on several syndicated NPR radio programs including, Mountain Stage and Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour. Partridge along with co-producer Ferrill Gibbs created the Alabama Astronaut podcast, where Abe attempts to properly record songs previously undocumented at holiness, serpent-handling churches in Appalachia. It was in the Top Ten documentary podcasts on Apple Podcasts within days of its release and now has over 100k downloads and a 4.9-star rating. Clark Paterson doesn't write songs from a safe distance. He writes them from the middle of the wreckage: hospital rooms, court dates, bar shifts at Robert's Western World, old farmhouses mid-restoration, garages cluttered with vintage car parts, and the strange emotional territory between heartbreak, survival, and redemption. Raised on his family's farm near Sandusky, Michigan, Paterson grew up around hard work, old machinery, and the kind of rural honesty that eventually found its way into his songs. Before settling in East Nashville, he studied at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and then traveled the world with a backpack and a guitar, absorbing stories everywhere he landed. FaceEater is an alternative rap project that began in 2025 with the goal of making loud-ass, scary music to play live for all of Chicago (and maybe the whole world one day). Their debut album, "FACEEATER", came out this past May. They plan on releasing an experimental rap mixtape later this year. Suroor is your local Pakistani popstar raised in Karachi and now based in Memphis and Chicago, known for her electrifying and immersive live performances as well as her one-of-a-kind fusion of eclectic genres and influences from all over the world. Suroor makes music for the girlypop baddies to the hardcore punks, you'll find yourself shaking ass one moment and moshing the next. Her genre is often described as industrial hyperpop, but draws influence from a wide range of musical genres like alt-R&B and digital hardcore, "creating a 'seasoned smokers' blend for people who are tired of commercial pop" (Issues Mag, 2025). DURTNAP are a nu-metal core band. They are high energy and like to have fun as well as get the crowd engaged with their shows.

The quirky and brainy songwriting and laser beam harmony vocals of Maggie, Terre, and Suzzy Roche have influenced countless musicians since their debut in the mid-1970s --- from early super fans Paul Simon, Linda Ronstadt, and Phoebe Snow --- to today's crop of rabid devotees including Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, and Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers. O'Connor, Cunningham, and Hogan will present a set of Roches classics and deep cuts - featuring special musical guest Macie Stewart (Finom, Tweedy) - and hosted by the fabulous and inimitable Alex Grelle.

The Uptones are one of the most venerable post-collegiate/adult a cappella groups in Chicago; we were founded as Uptown Sound in 2009 — before The Sing-Off, before Pitch Perfect, just as a cappella was exploding off of college campuses nationwide. A group of young professionals, with a mixture of singing experience (from college a cappella groups, to musical theatre, to choirs, to nothing at all), came together and decided to set out on an adventure in the world of contemporary pop a cappella.We’ve gone from performing for 20-odd family and friends in a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop to regular audiences of over 120 at our biannual concerts, and from a repertoire of self-arranged music by none other than our talented members. In our more than a decade of singing together, over 70 people have joined us for at least a little while (anywhere from 12–16 at any one time). We sing because we enjoy performing, because we need a creative outlet… and we stay, because it’s fun. The makeup of the group continues to change, but the personality remains the same: music, friendship, and a little bit of humor. We hope you'll love listening to us as much as we love performing for you.
