Chicago! We are back for our 6th annual Hollyy-Days show this December, and could not be more excited to spend the evening with you right back at Thalia Hall. Almost one year to the day of our debut album release in 2025 too! We'll be playing all of the hits and throwing in surprises per usual. We're never not in awe that so many of you factor this show into your Holiday plans, so we can't wait to see you on December 11th! Pivot Gang is one of Chicago's premier hip hop collectives, made up of Saba, MFnMelo, Joseph Chilliams, Frsh Waters, and producer daedae PIVOT. Long known as "Chicago's Boy Band," the group's music pairs elite lyricism with rich melodies and harmonies, creating a sound that's as collaborative as it is technical. Their debut album, You Can't Sit With Us, introduced the group to audiences around the world, earning praise from outlets including Pitchfork, Complex, The FADER, XXL, and more. The project led to a successful North American headline tour and established Pivot Gang as one of the most exciting independent acts to emerge from Chicago in the last decade. Now, Pivot Gang is returning with with an album later this year, their first full-length group project since You Can't Sit With Us. The album marks the next chapter for the collective while honoring the legacy of John Walt and SqueakPIVOT.

Vivian composed a guitar piece in 2022 for the Chicago White Sox to commemorate the induction of Minnie Miñoso into the Hall of Fame. In 2023, Vivian had a song placed in the award winning film “The Persian Version” that won Audience award at Sundance and is distributed by Sony Pictures About Autumn Ellis: Autumn Ellis is very excited for her first fore in performing original works! Although she is a museum worker by day, she has performed in musical theater and a Capella throughout her life. Tonight she is joined by friends to help her bring her a cappella pieces to life. About T'aira Lashae: T’aira Lashae (they/she) is an interdisciplinary artist blending text, fibers, and film into new worlds exploring human nature and its relationship to the environment, queer politics, and family ties. Based in Chicago, they are a Poet in Residence at The Chicago Poetry Center and have been published in Poems While You Wait: 15-year Anniversary Anthology and Yes Project Gallery Copy Zine. Growing up in a family of musicians, T’aira’s music journey began at a young age where poetry and music blended into one as she took inspirations from Paramore, Willow, and Eartha Kitt. About Maria Valezquez: Maria F. Velazquez is a Chicago-born urban farmer, maker, and occasional musician. Velazquez's alto and grounded voice is accompanied by her stylized western folk sound. Her inspiration stemming from singer songwriters and somber songs, lends well to her love for a simple setup-- a woman and her parlour guitar. She is honored to return to the Epiphany Center to share her songs once more. About Jovian Moon: Jovian Moon is a improvisational group based out of Chicago who ties in inspiration from jazz, RnB, Blues, Funk, and Fusion into all of their music. They love to see where the music takes them on stage and communicate these things live on stage through their instruments. You'll hear a mix of originals and covers and they will bring the ENERGY. As a musician, she's co-composed for large choirs; crowdsurfed at rock clubs; recorded a live album with the Grammy-winning Minnesota Orchestra; and contributed a track to the #1 album The Hamilton Mixtape. As a speaker, Dessa regularly presents on art, science, and entrepreneurship at colleges and universities across the US. Her TED Talk, which recounts her science experiment on how to fall out of love, has notched more than 4 million views. As an author, she's written for The New York Times and National Geographic Traveler; been broadcast by the BBC; and published several literary collections including the memoir-in-essays My Own Devices (Penguin Random House). She's currently serving as Artist in Residence at Georgetown University's Music Sustainability Initiative.
