SHOW ME THE BODY
SHOW ME THE BODY Show Me The Body (SMTB) was formed in New York City in 2009. They released “Yellow Kidney” independently in 2015 followed by the “SMTB” EP released via the Letter Racer Collective that same year. After signing with Loma Vista and releasing their debut album “Body War” in 2016, SMTB began touring the US and Europe. Upon returning home the band began a collaborative mixtape project called “Corpus 1” released in 2017. 5ONNY
5ONNY Sonny Trill, born Cory Medlock, is a hip hop recording artist hailing from the south suburbs of Chicago. He began writing music at the age of 11. At 16 he decided to forgo music to pursue basketball and focus on academics. Unfortunately his love and desire for a career in music became too strong to deny. He left college and decided to do just that. Since then Trill has begun to create quite a buzz from his energetic, rockstar style performances. His melodic delivery and rapid style flow over trap beats can most be described as “lyrical trap”, much different from the typical “drill” style music most are accustomed to from Chicago artists. Aside from performing all over Chicago, Sonny’s latest EP “Trill Smith” has caught the attention of many across the city and looks to follow up that success with his latest project “Heartbreak Trill” slated to drop later on this year. Devon Gilfillian – Time Will Tell Tour w. Jon Muq
Forged through the extreme highs and lows that come with living, Time Will Tell is the album that Devon Gilfillian has been preparing to make his entire life. His third studio album was recorded in Nashvilles legendary RCA Studio A, live to tape on varispeed, with mostly single vocal takes. Gilfillian wrote and produced with a mighty team including longtime drummer and friend Jonathan Smalt and Neal H Pogue (Tyler the Creator, OutKast) as executive producer. Gilfillian carries soul track to track through a sonic journey of rock, funk, and country elements, magnetically vulnerable about his own failure and frailty. No end is ever easy, and what else is there in life than to go through? To get to where were going, weve got to suffer a little. Time Will Tell is the sound of Gilfillian doing just that while realizing what a blessing it is to be here at all.
