Bill Callahan (solo)

My Days of 58 is the eighth Bill Callahan album, his first since 2022. The twelve tunes here open uncanny depths of expression as Bill continues to blaze one of the most original songwriting-and-performance trails out there. With My Days of 58, he applies the living, breathing energies of his live shows to the studio process, sharpening his slice-of-life portraiture to cut deeper than ever before. The core musicians featured on My Days of 58 is the group that toured for 2022s REALITY: guitarist Matt Kinsey, saxophonist Dustin Laurenzi and drummer Jim White, whose synergy was evident in 2024s live Resuscitate!. This showed Bill, as he puts it, that they could handle anything I threw at them, adding: Improv/unpredictability/the unknown is the thing that keeps me motivated to keep making music. Its all about listening to yourself and others. A lot of the best parts of a recording are the mistakesmaking them into strengths, using them as springboards into something human.

Having evolved from their understated slowcore beginnings in Austin, Texas, theyre now seasoned veterans of the scene. Across their first five studio albums, the duo established their trademark sound of twangy indie rock, 2000s-inspired pop-country, and emotional acoustic ballads with strong pop sensibilities. Their last two records saw them processing lifes most intense emotions more openly than ever before, from declarations of love in its many forms on 2021s True Love, to grappling with loss and personal change on their latest self-titled album, Hovvdy. But the songs of Big World have them trading in overt emotional directness for subject matter that leans enigmatic, contemplating their place in the world through a mosaic of songs that sees the band at their most secure and self-aware.

FITZGERALDS NIGHTCLUB PRESENTS:YARN w/ special guest Terry White & The Loaded Dice$25 General Admission // $30/seat Reserved Tables Available You might expect a band that calls itself Yarn to, naturally, tend to spin a yarn or two. Thats what we do, we tell stories, live and in the studio, truth and fiction,singer/songwriter Blake Christiana insists. We dont always opt for consistency. Theres a different vibe onstage from what comes through in our recordings. Theres a difference in every show as well, you never know what youre going to get.Yarns ability to persevere ought to come as no great surprise, especially for a band that spent two years honing their chops during a Monday night residency at the famed Kennys Castaway in New Yorks Greenwich Village. In effect, it allowed them to rehearse onstage, mostly in front of audiences that often ranged in size from five to a hundred people on any given night. 10 studio albums followed -- Yarn (2007), Empty Pockets (2008), Leftovers Part One (2009), Come On In (2010), Leftovers Part 2 (2011), Almost Home (2012), Shine the Light On (2013), This Is The Year (2016), and Lucky 13 parts 1 ve driven nonstop, made countless radio station appearances, driven broken-down RVs and watched as their van caught fire. Theyve paid their dues and then some, looking forward even as they were forced to glance behind.Indeed, the accolades piled up quickly along the way. They have landed on the Grammy ballot 4 times, garnered nods from the Americana Music Association, placed top five on both Radio and Records and the AMA album charts, garnered airplay on Sirius XM, iTunes, Pandora, CNN, and CMT, been streamed millions of times on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon, and also accorded the Download of the Day from Rolling Stone. Improvement Movement / Jalen Reyes

Doors: 8PM / Show: 9PM / 21+Improvement Movement, the social betterment campaign/prog-rock quartet/non-denominational cult from Atlanta, GA, have made a new record just for you and your modern day malaise. Its called Your Perfect Real Life, because, well, theres a lot going right these days, right? Arriving August 21, 2026 via ATO Records, Your Perfect Real Life is prismatic, angular, jumpy, and eccentric. Its sure to inundate your ears, corporeal form, and spiritual body with equal parts unadulterated bliss and realist catharsis, or, in other words, as much good as you can reasonably feel these days. Set in a world of chaos where the news seems to be perpetually recounting stories of planes falling out of the sky, urban wildfires, the uncanny nature of a southern snowfall, and schlepping ads that feel plucked from a sci-fi movie, Your Perfect Real Life makes an earnest case for embracing lifes relentless unpredictability. Animated by the bands baroque take on the angular harmonies of grunge, the records eleven tracks sprawl and simmer, enlivened by the Improvement Movements novel employment of dynamics, sticky melodies, four-part harmony, and a treasure trove of experimental instruments. If youve ever found yourself enraptured by the lush harmonies of Fleet Foxes, the theatrics of early Genesis tracks, or the candid intimacy of Art Garfunkel, Improvement Movement may be for you. Improvement Movement is a democracy, and so they say, things move slow. That may be true for the internal machinations of the band, but their output has been quite regular. Each member of the band, who have largely been eschewing definition, are songwriters and instrumentalists who have spent the better part of a decade in the fertile DIY scene in Atlanta, GA. In that time theyve been swirling, relatively undisrupted, in their own primordial ooze and rubbing elbows with folks from the no wave, punk, improv, and free jazz scenes. Atlanta is about as DIY as it gets, they say. Weve got some of the most killing musicians in the world all spread out on these kinds of islands of urbanization. Theres always something new. That said, the band hasnt been in Atlanta much lately; they were on the road relentlessly over the last two years, supporting Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Iron It was a gauntlet, trying to live day by day. There was no room for anything with too much premeditation.

Noche Eterna and Feeltrip present: WINGTIPS (10 Year Anniversary) / Blood Handsome / Slugscape / DJ Lidia Vomito

Doors: 8PM / Show: 9PM / 21+WINGTIPS are a Midwest-based darkwave/electropop duo consisting of VincentSegretario and Hannah Avalon. The bands sonics are best described as anandrogynous sound of transition. Interpolating darkly shimmering layers ofangular guitar and pulsating darkwave beats, WINGTIPS sharpen their anthemicrush with an increasing penchant for melody and an atmosphere equallyinformed by post-punk as sweeping electronica.Their debut full-length, EXPOSURE THERAPY released in 2019, is acontextualization of new romantic for post-millennial end times, and a refreshingmix of synthpop and darkwave with hooks so compelling they are cinematic inscope. In September 2021, WINGTIPS released their sophomore LP, CUTTINGROOM FLOOR. The record is a momentous shift from a previous stylisticallydarkwave approach into a realm of maximalist dark pop, and even techno bodymusic, while also maintaining many of the sonic textures from whence the bandcame. In 2024, WINGTIPS released their third full-length record, ON TRIAL. Featuringcollaborations with the likes of TIM CAPPELLO (The Lost Boys, Tina TurnerBand), and the cutting edge New York-based RONNIE STONE, the album is yetanother shift for the band into an even more evolved musical identity. Tonally, the dichotomy between tracks marks the furthered maturity of WINGTIPSapproach to their unique blend of dark dance music, and texturally lush dreampop. The album also marks the first release where the entirety of recording, mixing, and post-production was completed by the band themselves, maintaining a core ethos that DIY is key to precisely communicating artisticlanguage. In 2026, WINGTIPS welcomed drummer KASEY LEE ROGERS to their livelineup, marking the first time in over a decade the band has presented itself in athree-piece configuration.

Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam - The Joint Tour with Johanna Samuels

At the time I Had a Dream That You Were Mine was first released, the Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam were best known for their work in two of the most influential rock bands of the era: Hamilton as lead singer in The Walkmen and Rostam as the co-songwriter and producer behind Vampire Weekend. The inspired collaboration was born of friendship, and mutual admiration, but grew into a synergistic creative partnership that birthed a timeless album of beautifully evocative songs. I Had a Dream That You Were Mine is a delightfully immersive album, built around Rostam's meticulous, expansive production and Hamilton's distinctive, wild vocal range. Unlike anything either artist had done before, the album's stylistic flourishes include doo-wop, country-rock, baroque pop, folk, and spellbinding torch songs. Together, the lauded musicians found a unique flair for the dramatic which made their handful of live performances a thrilling experience; ten years on, these rare live shows are not to be missed!

Humbird

Stars wheel overhead, bursting and dying and forming. Celestial bodies, anchored by ancient orbits, careen through space. Here on Earth, bodies need tending, hearts need mending. Sometimes it seems that the long night will never end. But stars and planets remind us: change is the only constant.Humbirds fourth full-length album, Morning When It Comes, is a promise made in the midst of a long night. With glittering hooks, big-hearted grooves, and clear-voiced melodies that cut straight to the truth, Humbird offers twelve new secular hymns that draw inspiration from the cosmos above to comfort us in our humanity down below. For lead songwriter Siri Undlin (she/her), this album first took shape as a set of poetic compasses for navigating mental and physical illness. I found certain melodies and rhymes to be like North Stars, she notes, the songwriting process functioning as a balm and a map for reckoning with internal worlds of pain and discomfort. This process isnt new for Undlin: whether singing as a kid in school stairwells, around the kitchen table with family, conducting extensive folklore and musical research worldwide as a Watson Fellow, or touring through the US and EU/UK on the heels of her 2024 album Right On, music has always been her tool for navigating the world. I wrote these songs when I was really sick, and it couldve very easily been a really depressing album, she says. But in the studio, it was important to all of us to find the ways these songs could harness mischief and exuberance not to downplay the density of the emotions, but to represent the complexity and contradictions that occur on any given day of our lives. Recording Morning When It Comes with trusted collaborators in Eau Claire, Wisconsin transformed these twelve self-soothing songs into a bigger, more universal conversation about stability, surrender, and the power of being in community.

Slow Pulp

When the members of Slow Pulp discuss Yard, their second full-length record and first for ANTI-, their vocabulary often defaults to synesthetic imagery and sensation. "We have so many visual cues for how we talk about music," singer and guitarist Emily Massey says as she stops herself in the middle of explaining how the album's second song, "Doubt," sounds like wakeboarding. "Doubt is quite dark lyrically, but it is found in this upbeat and almost campy environment." On Yard, the Wisconsin-bred, Chicago-based four-piece nestles comfortably into pockets of nuance, impressions, contradictions -- sonics and lyrics finessed together to bottle the specific tension of a feeling you've never quite been able to find the right words for. In that regard, listening to Slow Pulp can feel like being in a room with someone who's known you so long that they can read your every micro-expression and pinpoint exactly how you're feeling before you can.
