Our sound is both garagey and poppy, and our songs are written from various POVs, but they ultimately resolve to show an appreciation for why life is worth living. mourning star are loud band from bloomington, Indiana. The Violet Hearts are a rock band from Oak Park, Illinois. Fantombs is a Chicago-based dark Americana indie band.
