Saxophonist Sofia Koulouvaris is one of Chicago's most exciting young jazz voices. A remarkably skilled and expressive player for her age, she studied at DePaul University under master saxophonist Scott Burns and quickly established herself on the local scene. Her growing career already includes work with Soul Message, the Birch Creek Faculty Big Band, and DC & The Love, as well as leading her own quartet. *Ben Esposito is filling in for Mason on drums! Every Tuesday and Wednesday at the Relax Attack Jazz Series, we present Chicago's top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation.
