BVLL HEATHER is the solo project + drag persona of Chicago-based singer, songwriter, and musician Beckland Sargeant. THE BLOODFLOWERS are the project's live-show muscle, comprised of other musicians active in the Chicago DIY music scene. Together they perform a high-octane hodgepodged synthesis of classic punk, 70s glam, 80s new wave, 00s alt rock & metal, and anything else that can be pulled off with a guitar or two or three, garage-sale synthesizers, and some attitude. Lauded by outlets like The Isthmus and Tone Madison as 'Spiky', 'Haunting' and 'enticing', Madison based goth rock trio Frozen Charlotte has garnered a cult following through their singular, theatrical storytelling and cutting, punk influenced sound. Chicago-based noise-rock duo mr.phylzzz (pronounced Mister Flies) strips rock-and-roll down to its rawest, ugliest, and most exhilarating essentials. Blending heavy, garage-rock distortion with a gritty, post-punk attitude, the band delivers a massive, wall-of-sound experience that defies their two-piece lineup. Armed with ferocious riffs and a visceral, high-energy live show, mr.phylzzz is a relentless sonic assault that demands to be heard at maximum volume.
