The Secret Sisters with Mary Bragg

Since their 2010 self-titled debut, The Secret Sisters have brought their spellbinding harmonies to songs that untangle the thorniest aspects of life and love and womanhood. In the making of their new album, Mind, Man, Medicine, Alabama-bred siblings Laura Rogers and Lydia Slagle found their songwriting transformed by a newfound sense of self-reliance and equanimity, threading their lyrics with hard-won insight into the complexities of motherhood, commitment, compassion, and self-preservation in an endlessly chaotic world. Centered on a kaleidoscopic sound that boldly blurs the edges of country-folk, the duos fifth full-length ultimately confronts many of modern lifes harshest challenges while leading the listener toward a more open-hearted state of mind.In our previous records there was a feeling that we had something to prove, but now were leaning toward a place of peaceful acceptance and trying to stay immersed in the present, says Slagle, noting that their shared experience in parenting young children greatly informed that shift in perspective. There are definitely still moments of frustration and anger on this album, but theres also a little more light, Rogers adds. I think a lot of that came from getting older, and from letting go of the pressure we put on ourselves in the past. We finally reached the point of saying, Lets just write the songs honestly as we can, and trust that theyll reach whoever theyre meant to reach. The follow-up to Saturn Returntheir 2020 Grammy-nominated LP co-produced by Brandi Carlile and lavishly praised by the likes of Rolling StoneMind, Man, Medicine finds The Secret Sisters co-producing alongside Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes, St. Paul On Saturn Return wed gotten much more confident as far as directing the sound of the record and knowing how to capture our voices in the most honest way, so it felt like the right time for our first foray into production, says Rogers. The latest in a series of critically lauded releases, the album came to life at FAME Studios (the historic spot in their hometown of Muscle Shoals) and at Sun Drop Sound in nearby Florence, with contributions from such esteemed musicians as Alabama Shakes bassist Zac Cockrell and legendary multi-instrumentalist Larry Campbell (Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Levon Helm).Referring to The Secret Sisters latest chapter as one where we seek, savor, and settle, the duo lifted the title to Mind, Man, Medicine from a lyric in Same Water: a gorgeously bluesy meditation on the search for healing in a profoundly troubled world, channeling both weariness and empathy with soulful conviction. Theres a line in Same Water that says Mind or man or medicine/I have tried them all, which feels like it encompasses everything we were trying to say on this record, Slagle explains. In a lot of these songs were struggling with our own minds and emotions, with our relationships, and with whatever were using to try to cope and find relief.

SOLD OUT - Son Volt

After spearheading the alt - country movement with Uncle Tupelo, Jay Farrar pursued his vision with Son Volt, who recorded three landmark albums in the 90s before the groundbreaking artist put the band on extended hiatus and cut three solo LPs. Missing the free exchange of ideas and the surprises that inevitably occur when a group of simpatico musicians lock together, Farrar assembled a new lineup of Son Volt in 2004 and has since released nine albums. The latest album, Sound Signal Serenades , was released a s a special 2026 Record Store Day limited edition LP. Jay Farrars work often seeks out the ghosts of Americas discordant or forgotten past, converses at length with them, and writes songs that stake a claim to a better future.

Devon Gilfillian – Time Will Tell Tour w. Jon Muq

Forged through the extreme highs and lows that come with living, Time Will Tell is the album that Devon Gilfillian has been preparing to make his entire life. His third studio album was recorded in Nashvilles legendary RCA Studio A, live to tape on varispeed, with mostly single vocal takes. Gilfillian wrote and produced with a mighty team including longtime drummer and friend Jonathan Smalt and Neal H Pogue (Tyler the Creator, OutKast) as executive producer. Gilfillian carries soul track to track through a sonic journey of rock, funk, and country elements, magnetically vulnerable about his own failure and frailty. No end is ever easy, and what else is there in life than to go through? To get to where were going, weve got to suffer a little. Time Will Tell is the sound of Gilfillian doing just that while realizing what a blessing it is to be here at all.

Alicia Witt: Album Release Show - Between Heaven and Earth (and David Lynch) w. Alice Wallace

Meet & Greet pre-show tickets available at ticket link: limited availability. Includes autographs of up to 5 items you bring, or anything you buy at merch table, and a photo with Alicia. Starts 2 hours before showtime. Between Heaven and Earth, the haunting and deeply personal new album from Alicia Witt, arrives August 28 via Thirty Tigers. Recorded live in New York City with producer Joe Henry and a band assembled specifically for the project, the album exists between transcendence and intimacy, channeling what Witt describes as , "rdquo" -> eternal unconditional love" and , "rdquo" -> the place suspended between heaven and earth." The album was shaped by the influence and memory of David Lynch, whose impact on Witt began with her first role as Alia in Dune at age seven. , "rdquo" -> I can't imagine who I would be without David Lynch," Witt reflects. , "rdquo" -> He is weaved throughout the fabric of my life." On Between Heaven and Earth, Witt explores what she learned from Lynch , "rdquo" -> regarding love. The eternal nature of it, the idea that only love is real." She describes his presence as palpable throughout the recording process: , "rdquo" -> David was with us every day in the studio. All six of us in the band felt his presence." While widely recognized for her acclaimed acting career spanning film, television, and stage, music has remained a constant throughline in Witt's life. A classically trained pianist who supported herself as a musician when she first moved to LA, Witt has long integrated music into her creative identity, through her own songwriting and in many of the roles she has portrayed onscreen. Between Heaven and Earth is Witt's 8th album. Tracked live over four days with vocals and instrumentation recorded simultaneously, the album embraces what Witt calls a , "rdquo" -> visceral and eternal" energy, one that , "rdquo" -> could never be replicated." Guided by Henry's vision and the chemistry of the musicians in the room, the songs were channeled instinctively, with minimal overdubs and an openness to what Witt repeatedly refers to as , "rdquo" -> that place" --- the transcendent emotional state she connects to through Transcendental Meditation, prayer, creativity, and Lynch's work itself. The songs on Between Heaven and Earth explore themes of longing, fate, healing, surrender, nostalgia, gratitude, and connection through what Witt describes as a lens of , "rdquo" -> insistent optimism." The title track embraces , "rdquo" -> a mystical new connection," rooted in faith that , "rdquo" -> it does no harm to dream". On , "rdquo" -> Artifacts," Witt examines , "rdquo" -> releasing ancient lessons that no longer serve"; , "rdquo" -> Kindred" channels , "rdquo" -> barriers evaporating in a fabric of light and destiny," while , "rdquo" -> Build Me A Dream" reflects on , "rdquo" -> constructing the reality we wish to exist in". Elsewhere, songs like , "rdquo" -> Freeze Frame," , "rdquo" -> Test Drive," and , "rdquo" -> Blue Moon" meditate on alternate timelines and the peaceful acceptance of connections that were not meant to remain. , "rdquo" -> Thank You," a duet with John Paul White, transforms heartbreak into gratitude. On , "rdquo" -> Love Anyway," Witt sings about unconditional love that remains even when unreturned. Closing the album is , "rdquo" -> The Director," a track Witt describes as , "rdquo" -> communication with David", , "rdquo" -> a collection of his words to me since he passed away."

Laci Kaye Booth - Love Ain't For The Faint Of Heart Tour with Harper O'Neill

21+ / www.carolspub.comCountry storyteller Laci Kaye Booth has made her name on raw, honest songs that blend the tragic swoon of dream-pop with the lush songcraft that flows out of her home base of Nashville. In 2026, freshly signed to Lost Highway Records, she emerges renewed, grounded in a healthy mindset and career set to bloom like never before --- but it hasn't always been that way. Inspired by her and others' journeys in and out of lover's hell, Laci has poured her many lessons learned into her cinematic third album, Love Ain't For The Faint Of Heart. Produced by Ben West, the LP is a rewarding ride through diverse sounds, harsh reckonings, and serious growth --- a moment of actualization on a rich trip thus far. Laci grew up in smalltown Livingston, TX, about 75 miles north of Houston. Mom bought her first acoustic guitar and though her dad, country artist Jody Booth, wasn't around much, they bonded over a shared love of legends like Merle and Patsy. Following in his footsteps, she moved to Music City and, after 2021's more straightforward self-titled debut, Laci found her footing. The Loneliest Girl In The World, released on Geffen in 2024, was an authentic expansion of her sound that won her sound that won her time on the road with Ella Langley, Parker McCollum, Megan Moroney, Marcus King Band, and more, not to mention her Grand Ole Opry debut. Last year, as the new songs crept into her setlist, Laci felt two things: a sense of catharsis as she let out old ghosts, and certitude that she's in the right place now. This event is 21 and over. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 21 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund.
