Playing rare and hot music from the past as well as beloved classics, this jazz band has a spirit that sets it apart from the rest. Mia Elliott sings from the heart with a technique inspired by Ruth Etting, Annette Hanshaw, Ethel Waters, and other powerhouse vocalists who shaped the genre forever. With Paul Asaro on piano and Peter Ho on cornet, this group captivates the room with hot solos, sweet melodies, and authentic Chicago style.
