HIPPIES & COWBOYS Hippies & Cowboys will capture attention through their skillful blend of country music, Southern rock and soul. The band’s current momentum out of Nashville, TN is the result of their high energy live shows and soaring vocals from frontman, Aaron Spalding. At 23, Aaron Sparling made it to Nashville from Kokomo, IN. In Music City, he connected quickly to like-minded musicians and music-biz execs. He became the driving force behind Hippies and Cowboys and is, hands down, one of the best rock singers in the business right now. When asked what drives him, Sparling says, “The fans. Pure and simple. Seeing the joy that music brings to people and feeling that excitement of creation…it gives me a way to express my feelings or opinions freely. I love to see the enjoyment on people’s faces when I sing a song, that feeling of amazement, joy, and high energy.” The timeless sound of Hippies and Cowboys generates a universal appeal, but what so many of their fans have come to know and love about them is the once in a lifetime experience of the electric energy emanating from the stage when they perform. Band Website Spotify Facebook Instagram VELVET DAYDREAM A band well known for bringing back the “classic rock show.” Chock-full of retro 70s-inspired style, Kaeden Keys (guitar, vocals), Ryder King (guitar, vocals), Jude Pfanstiel (bass, vocals), and Nick Schwartz (drums, vocals), are restoring a style of music that has been dwindling over the past 30 years: rock and roll. This vintage style of showmanship isn’t just for the stage, as it can be heard on their 2023 self-titled debut album The Velvet Daydream. The band partnered with experts in the art of recording, using holy grails of equipment once used on records from Foreigner, Julian Lennon and Dream Theater. Authentic to the bone, the band opted to record the album on 1/2 inch tape and preserve the old school rock and roll feeling. They are shooting for the big time, and with good reason.
