About this event
Juneteenth Weekend in Chicago ends with 106 & Party. A celebration of the music, nostalgia, and culture that defined an era. That's So Rubes, Nothin' But Anthems, BON, & Caleeb are bringing the energy of the 106 & Park generation to Avondale Music Hall for a night centered around the records that raised us. From early 2000s hip hop and R&B to the songs that had everybody running home after school to catch the countdown, this event is built for the people who really lived it. This is also the first edition of 106 & Party in Chicago, making the night even bigger as we close out one of the city’s biggest weekends alongside one of the culture’s most respected DJs, Bandcamp, leading the soundtrack for the night. Joined by Paris, Caleeb, and Preme, expect a room full of nonstop hits, throwbacks, and real party energy. 21+ with valid physical ID required. Dress Code: No athletic wear or sweatsuits. No overly casual attire. Fashionable nightlife attire strongly encouraged.
