Sean Solomon is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist who blends indie music with hand-drawn animation. He gained recognition as a member of the post-punk band Moaning (signed to Sub Pop). He is currently a solo artist signed to ANTI- Records, with his debut solo album, The World Is Not Good Enough, scheduled for release on April 3, 2026. Known for a "naive" and colorful hand-drawn aesthetic, his visual style often mimics children's book illustrations but deals with adult themes. He has directed music videos for artists like Run The Jewels and has developed original content for major networks like HBO Max and Adult Swim. Solomon is unique for integrating his two crafts; during his live musical performances, he often uses stacks of vintage TV monitors and VHS tapes to sync his custom animations with the songs. His work frequently explores the intersection of humor, anxiety, and the surreal nature of modern life.
