Dyzphazia was quite a late comer to the electronic side of music. His love for dance music started after hearing a Lab-4 CD back in 2005. Astonished by their darker, harder more industrial influence, he continued to explore the Hard Trance and Hard House scenes. In 2006 he received his first set of decks. A Numark Battlepack, containing a pair of beltdrive decks and a 2 channel mixer. He started to spin Hard House and Hard Trance records from record labels like: Tidytwo, Shock Records, Passion Records, Nosebleed. Anything hard that was around at the time really. In 2006, he was introduced to Freeform. Hearing a friend play a few tracks he'd picked up at a weekender event. These 3 tracks, with such astounding production quality and writing skills would change the way he listened to music forever. These tracks were: Alek Szahala - Dyrad Machine Alek Szahala - Unholy Word Pain On Creation - Lush (Carbon Based Remix) Following these events, he very quickly picked up a taste for Freeform, releasing his first Freeform mix named 'This is not a substitute for social interaction', with tunes from the FiNRG crew, AMS, Tazz & Concept, Oli G & AC Slater. From here Dyzphazia embarked on a musical journey of exploration and evolution. Spanning over 3 years. During this time he has mixed styles such as: Trance, Nuskool Breaks, UK Hardcore, J-Core, Tech-Trance, Dubstep, IDM, Drum & Bass, etc... Always retaining the love for Freeform, forever feeling the lust for contrast in music he experienced with FiNRG and NuNRG Collective. During this time, Dyzphazia was booked for several local nights playing Freeform and Hard Trance. These local events included: Trancend, iCandy Boys vs. Girls and Ignition. Eventually coming full circle in the summer of 2011, Dyzphazia has returned full time to Freeform and the harder, faster side of music. Bringing with him his experience of his musical journey. Producing the 'Life @' series, which incorporates his favourite elements from all genres of music that have a similar natural tempo. Dyzphazia is also a moderator at www.freeformforum.net, which is (as far as i'm aware) the only dedicated Freeform forum online. Fully looking forward to Munted! The London Sessions, he managed to scrape together the funds to get to the event. Alas, the event was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. He then came up with the idea of putting on a radio show on Krafty Radio, a tribute to the night. After posting the idea on the Munted! wall, he discovered that a fellow Freeform enthusiast and DJ named DJ Midas had the same idea. Midas's connections in Krafty Radio made it a pretty easy job to set up. We both used our connections from the UK and Finnish scenes to put together an astounding line up, including: A.B., Endemic, Substanced and other big players in the Freeform scene. Expect to see the name 'Dyzphazia' on future line ups!
